Dependent drop-down list doesnt work with multiple statements

Copper Contributor

Hopefully someone can help be!

I cannot share the workbook, because it is company-sensitive.

But here's the issue:

  • Im trying to create a dropdown list that is dependent oh three statements.
  • The three statements can all be combined. Resulting in 6 unique lists.

I wanna create a dependent dropdown showing me these lists based on the three statements.

The three statements are combined in a cell with &""&.

I cant get it to work! Anyone have an idea of how to get this right?

You can assign names to L12:L14, M12:M14 etc. form L11, M11 etc., and use =INDIRECT(H9) as source for the data validation list. See the attached version.
