Delete names

Copper Contributor

I am using Excel for Mac 2016.

I can define cell names and use them.

However, the option "manage names" is not available.

How can I delete wrong/ mistyped names?

Hi

There is no special button for the Name Manager in any version of Excel for Mac. However, you can call it by pressing  + fn + F3.

The dialog window will appear, where you can enter name for a data range and a range of cells:

On standard full keyboards Command+F3 is sufficient.

Hope that helps

Thanks. I expected to see a menu something like the windows version.

Deleting a name is simply done by pressing the '-' .
