Date defaults to Month and year

Hi,

When I type in 1/4/2022 the cell defaults to Apr-22.

How can I stop this? What settings do i need to change.

@davie1965 The cell (or cells) you are typing in are probably custom formatted as mmm-yy

Change the cell format to Date and it should pickup the format in accordance with the settings on your computer.
