I import a document that automatically formats number into dates. An example number is 12-1-1 and Excel seems to recognize it as a date and first shows up as XXXXXX, then when expanding the column, it changes to a date. I can format the cell and column, but it changes the number to something completely different like 763354. Is there a way to turn off the autoformat when I import my document?
