Data validation problem

Copper Contributor

In Office 365 my student cannot create a dropdown menu using Data Validation. When choosing Settings > Allow > List, the Source field will not accept a range of values (for example =$B$4:$B$8). This entry gives an error message "The formula you entered is not valid."

Depends on where do you keep your file. For OneDrive or SharePoint it shall work.
