The following behavior occurs weather I use the English version of Excel, or the Italian one. The operating system is Windows 10 Pro, English version. The regional settings are for Italy (EU).
I have a list of countries, each called as in its native language, for example:
Italia
France
Deutschland
España
If I select all of them and select Geography in Data ribbon, Excel understands that they are countries, identifies correctly each country, BUT changes all of them to Italian language. That is:
Italia
Francia
Germania
Spagna
It look like Excel uses the regional settings to change the country name. Is there a way to use for each country its own language?
