Hi, I have a question about sorting data. I am hoping to make a graph where every time you go to a new column, it switches the sorting to the highest number of that column. I'm making album rankings where I divide up the score to different sections like vocals and lyrics and want it to be that when you click on that section you see what albums scored the highest in that area. I am new to excel and am wondering if there is a way to do this or not.

Hi,
I attached an example excel for this. hopefully this is more or less in line with what you want to see.
I created a table in B2:C11 where you input scores of "Lyrics" and "Vocal" for each song. (song1 to song10).
Then in E1:G11, I created a sorted table, based on "Vocal" or "Lyrics" score. (you can choose to sort by "Vocal" or "Lyrics" in a dropdown list in cell F1).
The chart is based on this sorted table.
If you choose to sort by "Vocal", the chart will display the "Vocal" scores of each song in descending order.
If you choose to sort by "Lyrics", the chart will display the "Lyrics" scores of each song in descending order.

Hi @rachel,
Sorry for such a late reply. Thank you so much for your help, though. This made my work a whole lot easier!
All the best,
