I've had a spreadsheet that's been working for months and I woke up this morning to all of my countifs that use reference one column on the spreadsheet failing with the #VALUE!. Other countifs are still working. They were all working yesterday and I didn't make a change to the column in question or really any column tied to the countifs. 2 other people have access to the document and they don't normally change things and say they changed nothing yesterday but it seems like something must have changed with that column but everything looks normal. Could there have been some Excel update? Though I haven't updated Excel on my laptop so not sure how that could have happened.
Any insight is welcome. Thanks!

Impossible to tell without seeing the workbook...
Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?

Thanks so much for you message. I was able to locate the problem. I had added a line to the bottom of the document and messed up the calculation probably by only adding cells and not an entire row so the formula was seeing the inconsistency between number of lines in the columns. So user error as expected! @Hans Vogelaar

Glad you were able to solve it yourself!
