corrupted excel files from USB

Hi,

I'm not sure how this happened but my USB was saying it needs to be repaired, and whenever I try and repair it, it seems to be repairing but then at the last second says it couldn't, and I have excel files with lots of data that I can't open; excel tries to repair them but I'm left with a blank spreadsheet. I don't know what to do!

@Sanaa_1This is more of a USB problem than an excel problem. Right click on the USB and go to tools if you have that option. You might have an option for check for errors. Other than that I am not sure what to do. You might just move the items off and then try to open them? So copy them to another folder and then try. You may have already tried that.
