Copy and Paste in Excel Problem

I am not an expert in Excel, but use it on a daily basis.

I have suddenly encountered a problem whereby I select a number of cells to copy and paste and it changes all the selected items to what is in the first cell. I must have inadvertently touched something, but do not know what.

Please could someone advise me as to what has happened and how I rectify the problem.

Could you please attached the sample/screenshot of data before copying and after pasting, it will help us to understand you issue correctly
