Conditional formatting

Copper Contributor

Can someone please tell me where I am going wrong with my conditional formatting? I am trying to set it up so that a cell will turn red if the number input is less that the corresponding number in the first column of that row. So, if the number in A2 is 97 and 96 is put in B2, it will turn red. However, if 103 is in C2, it won't turn red. I want each row to work independently and look at the first cell in the corresponding row only. Thanks

Hi @oconnells

Conditional formatting in your file was linked (Freeze) to Column A only. I have modified it. Hopefully it will work as desired.

Please see the attached file.

Hi, it still doesnt work. Any cells in columns B,C or D that contain a figure lower than the corresponding figure in column A should be red.
