Conditional formatting on cells dependent on other functional cells

I’m trying conditional formatting using formula to connect the inputs in one column of cells to the other column in an excel sheet but I’m not able to connect the two.
Can someone help me with finding the right syntax please

If you were to place the formula in the top-left cell of the CF range, it should reference the cells you wish to test and return TRUE/FALSE.  Filling down or across would generate a pattern of TRUE/FALSE that corresponds to the pattern you expect to see.

Use the formula from the top left cell to define the new conditional format.  Reinstate any formulas/values in the CF range you may have  lost while developing the CF conditions..
