I'm organising a betting competition in our office. Individuals pick teams they think will win in a head-to-head format. I'd like to be able to create a worksheet to deal with this more gracefully.
Specifically, in the spreadsheet attached, I'd like to compare E2 to D2 (and F2 to D2) and depending on the value in the cells, change the formatting to indicate whether the guess was correct or not. Is this the best way to do this?
Would I also be able to count the total number of correct guesses (and calculate a winning percentage) based upon the method above?
Thanks in advance.

that's fantastic thanks so much! I think I should add data validation(?) so that if there's a spelling mistake (like Raiders / Radiers for example) it doesn't break everything.

@theirlaw Adding data validation is always a good idea when you are dealing with features that call for an exact match between pieces of information. Good luck! Glad I could help.
