Conditional Formatting Based on Source

Hi friends! I am trying to find out if there is a way to use conditional formatting based on the source of the data.

I have a workbook with about 12 worksheets. The master sheet pulls data from the other sheets using MIN/MAX and SUM functions. The goal is to highlight/color data in the MIN/MAX columns of the master sheet based on which worksheet the MIN/MAX data came from. Anyone?

To highlight from which sheet the value comes you need to have 12 rules (one per each color = each sheet). If we speak about MIN column, formula rule checks if min value comes from this sheet and rule highlight the cell accordingly if so.

Same for MAX and other columns.

That is exactly what I thought to do. It’s the formula condition that will do this that I’m unfamiliar with. Would you be able to help with an example?

If you generate small sample file I'll try to apply conditional formatting rules to it.
