hope someone can help, I am looking to create a table so that we can input competitors they will run a show jump course then a cross country course for time but if they hit any obstacles in the show jump course then they are given a penalty point and if they stop at a jump in cross country a 10 seconds is added to their total time.
there will be an Optimum time of the run and then their run will be compared to that.
basically, we have a horse course that people run over a jump course first (Show Jumps) and every pole they knock down that is classed as a fault (1 Point) , then they run into a cross country course where they are then timed, but if there horse stops at a jump then that is a time penalty (10 seconds) added to their finish time. the time must show (Minutes.Seconds and Milliseconds)
finally, I would like it to rank the best riders with the lower time over the optimum time and the least penalty points in the show jumping.
