Combining multiple rows into a single row and including calculating earnings totals

Copper Contributor

Hi. I hope someone can help. I've got a sheet which I pull to work out delivery drivers earnings. How do I combine multiple rows of of the driver into one row which will also calculate his total earnings thereby shortening the sheet and giving the required information immediately.

I'm using Windows 10 20H2 Build 19042.962 with

Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.13929.20192) 64-bit.

I'm attaching a screenshot of a portion of the sheet to give you an idea of what I'm referring to.

Thanking you in advance

@djcraigq I guess you could summarise the data using a pivot table. How that would work is described in the attached MS support article. come back here if you have more questions.

Thank you so much for your reply. It definitely helped me a lot. I was just wondering if there wasn't an easier and less complex way to sort the data.
