I am having trouble and I want to make this look aesthetically pleasing. Committee wants three sub columns under monitoring. Any suggestions?

The word "Monitoring" is entered in C2 and then centred across selection (in this example C2:E2). I did NOT use the merge cells button. Of course, you may hide the grid lines, add color, change font (style and size) to your liking.
