Colors won't be added to Excel spreadsheet. I must have erroneously clicked on something that blocks

 must have hit something that prevents me from adding colors to selected cells in Excel spreadsheet. Anyone know how to correct this?

you probably have activated sheet protection:

Just click that button again and the sheet should be unprotected again (if you have not set a password when protecting it).
