I have sheet 1 that has start date and end date cells that the user fills out and a microsoft query bring data into sheet2. I have sheet 3 that has a line chart that displays the data. My problem is that when I created the line chart the first time, my query had brought in 52000 lines into sheet 2. Cells A1-U52000. On sheet3 I created my chart and selected the data to be A1-U52000 from sheet 2.
Everything was fine and I saved the excel file. The next time I opened it, I selected start and end dates that only returned 1998 lines to sheet 2. My chart is still showing data from A1-U52000. The majority of that selected range is actually blank.
How can I tell my chart to use the available data on sheet2 so that the chart displays correctly no matter what date range is used for the query?
