change letters to date

Copper Contributor

In excel across the top header each column has a letter designation, going down the side each row has a number designation, I would like to keep the number designation 1 > whatever down the side but change the Letter designation across the top, A> whatever, to a different date for each column or insert a row between the A1, B1, C1, etc to put the different dates, can't find anywhere that explains how to accomplish that. End result being  "A" block 11/20/20, "B" block being 11/21/20, etc or column form "A" block

                                 11/20/20

                              1

                              2

                              3

so forth.

I already created a sheet but had to put the date in the number 1 row untilll I get this figured out. To indicate a input I put a red asterisk next to the date.

Thank you for your assistance in advance.

That isn

t possible. You'll have to enter the dates in row 1.
