cell note options have disappeared when right clicking in a cell

The options to edit an existing cell not or add a new cell note are no longer available when right clicking a cell.  Anyone know why this happened and what a fix may be?

On which version of Excel you are? And perhaps you see New Comment?

Same problem here. Cannot now see the majority of the NOTES linked to various cells. In many cases there are just link lines going nowhere, with no NOTES message at the end.

Has a recent update of 365 Excel caused this?

Is there a fix available, please?
