Cell by the ribbon

Copper Contributor

Suddenly the space by the ribbon is not showing the individual cell.  How do I get this back so I can edit information?

If the formula bar, where you can edit the contents of a cell, is not visible in Excel, you can follow these steps to show it:

  1. Open Excel and go to the "View" tab in the ribbon.
  2. In the "View" tab, locate the "Show" group.
  3. Check the "Formula Bar" option. If it is already checked, uncheck it and then check it again.
  4. The formula bar should now appear at the top of the Excel window, displaying the contents of the selected cell.

Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + U" to toggle the display of the formula bar.

Once the formula bar is visible, you can click on any individual cell to edit its contents.

Thank You so Much!!! This worked!!
