Cant remove boxes from spreadsheet

I have trying to delete some objects from my spreadsheet. There is some information that needs to be on a spreadsheet but the system I am pulling from doesn't export files. I've been working around this by using copy and paste but there are these boxes inside of my sheet that I cannot delete. It is almost like cells within cells because I can write in them. Any help is appreciated.

they are probably objects.

Press F5, klick on "Special...", select "Objects", klick on "OK".

The objects are now selected.

Press DEL.

The objects are gone.
