Cannot enable macros

Copper Contributor

Hello everyone,

after setting up a new PC, upgrade to Windows11, I've installed Office Home&Business 2019, did all the update.

Now, when I try to open a file .xlsm with macros inside, the button "enable all" (file->information->enable content) remains gray, it cannot be clicked.

Anyone can help me?

What is your macro setting in File, Options, Trust center, Trust center settings, macro tab?

@JKPieterse enable all macro and I have the flag on trust access on vba project object model

I tried but no, my files are not blocked and on other PCs everything works fine

I've found a solution. It seems excel not recognise as trusted location my C:\ and my net shares, so adding those everything works again. 😠

@FabioCavalieri

Dear, can you explain in detail how to add that
