I hope this is the right place to ask, but I have an issue with Excel 2016. When I plot a graph, Excel won't let me change the axes minima and maxima. I can enter a value into the respective fields (x minimum/maximum, y minimum/maximum), but when I hit enter to confirm the value, it simply changes back to the original. I've tried a quick repair, online repair and complete reinstall but the problem persists. I then tried to do this on a different PC with a different Excel license and there it works normally (I can enter a value, hit enter and the graph changes).
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

With your permission, if I can recommend. It can help us all if you upload an Excel file (without sensitive data), no picture.
Even if it is said that a picture can say a thousand words, it is certainly not in the case of Excel,
on the contrary in some cases.
This would also be a blessing for all of us, as we can understand the problem much better,
a win-win situation for everyone.
* Knowing the operating system would also be an advantage.
Thank you for your understanding and patience

@NikolinoDE I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the operating system - it's Windows 10, Excel 2016.
I would upload a particular file, but the issue is not file related. For testing purposes I simply used a series of 1, 2, 3 and inserted a plot. If I do the same on the PC I am currently on there are no issues. If I go to the "problem" PC, I can't change the axis in any graph in any and all files!

Certainly not the most suitable one to help you with your plotting problem.
But I will search for and find information on the Internet for you and with you that could help you.
Bar min and max graph (English)
Excel–Kastendiagramm (German)
Wish you a nice day

@Liz_IR - Were you ever able to figure out a solution? Noting that I'm running into the exact same issue as you and am not finding that the fix works that Copetin shared about enabling "Use system separators."
Please let me know if you came to a solution around this so that you can update the minimum value of your axis without the value automatically updating back to its original value.

I had the same issue and as soon as I started to read your solution, it clicked in my head, I changed the decimal definition in the past for working on something else - and I would never figure it out on my own, that is the issue with plotting.
It helped super a lot!
Thank you!!

@Copetin still didn't work... do you have any idea of something else I might do?
honestly, I think this shouldn't be that hard....

I have recently had two crazy problems. This was one of them. In both cases the solution was to close Teamviewer!
