Can no longer insert rows on a worksheet

I'm working in a large spreadsheet and have been successfully inserting rows all day long. Now all of sudden I can no longer insert. I've tried everything I can think of. I've attached a copy.

I have no reason to disbelieve you, but I can insert rows in your workbook without problem.

Does the problem persist after quitting Excel, then opening the workbook again?

If yes: does it persist after restarting your computer?

@Hans Vogelaar Yesterday after encountering the problem, I did close the file and re-open. But I did not close Excel entirely. You are absolutely correct that today my problem is solved. Thank you Hans.
