Looking for the easiest way to accomplish the following: In a calendar format (to capture the monthly cash flow), schedule monthly credits and debits on their due dates without having to input every individual credit and debit entry for the entire year, while being able to entire unscheduled expenses and incomes. Help?

From your text I cannot infer which version of Excel you are dealing with, knowing the operating system would also be a plus for a proposed solution.
You can also download templates from your Excel Direct.
When you open the Excel you will see at the top right (if you have Excel 2010-2016) Recommended search depth: select Budgets and the Micorsoft world is at your feet.
If you want something special then you should put it in a contract work.
