Box on all screens

I have a box with the text "Enter your search term" that appeared top center of my screen while I was working on a spreadsheet.  But it appears on all my docs and it's currently on this screen.  What is it and how do I get rid of it?  It is in front of all text or information on any screen.

Excel Home & Student 2019
Is not an Excel specific problem. Happened while I was working on a spreadsheet, but box appears on every screen view.

Any screenshot of the window that pops up would be an advantage.

Gave up and restarted and resolved problem.

But please keep in mind that a third party cannot be in front of the monitor, so a specific description and technical details are required.
