Automatic Excel population from another Excel sheet upon download of document from a website

Copper Contributor

Hello everyone - if you could help me it would be much appreciated.

I have an Excel document which, in an ideal world, I would like people to be able to download from my website. It contains template information about an order, but with empty spaces in relation to three columns: item, price and deposit. The details for these three column is contained in a separate Excel document.

Ideally, a client would go to an item on the site and download the template document from there, which would then automatically fill in the item, price and deposit.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks again

Here's a video I created showing how to create an order form with drop-downs that I think will explain how to do exactly what you're requesting: https://youtu.be/8tMUIuUSnnc

Hopefully this helps you accomplish what you need to do!

Thank you!
