Automatic converting decimals to thousands

Hi,

When I'm working in Excel it keeps changing my long decimal number to thousands. 

E.g. if I type 1.0835 it writes 10835 instead. Does anyone have a fix for that particular issue?

Is this really about Excel on mobile? If so: do you use comma as decimal separator on that device? If that is the case, enter 1,0835

No, you can disregard the Mobile tag.

I use full stop ¨.¨ as the decimal separator

Select File > Options.

Select Advanced.

In the Editing section, clear the check box 'Automatically insert a decimal point'.

Click OK.

I have tried that as well, it doesn't fix the problem
