Auto Sort with calculated field

Hi, i really need some help, i have added a calculated field to a pivot but i need to sort the accounts from the largest to smallest, but i get the below message , does anyone know a work around as i have thousands of lines of data that needs sorting

A suggestion or two.
1. When in the process is the calculation field added to the table? Can you do the sorting before adding that field?

2. If that doesn't work--you asked specifically about "a workaround" and that's definitely what this would be: Again, do the Pivot Table with autosort; then do a copy/paste-special [values and number formats] to a separate spot and there, add the calculation.

I've not encountered what you describe, so as I said, these are just two ideas that pop into my head as possible work-arounds..
