Auto-fill Date of last modification

Copper Contributor

Hi, Is it possible to add to an existing report a column that will show the last modification date of each row?

I need this date retrospectively, and not only from now on.

Thanks in advance!

No, this information is not stored in Excel and so it's not possible. You could make a macro that added timestamps when cells were edited but that would only be prospective.

I have VBA code that works locally but not in MS Teams where I really wanted it to work, if anyone has any advice about how to get an auto "something in this row has been updated" that works in teams, I'm listening :)

However, I suspect that it may not even be a generic issue but may be a decision our Office 365 tenancy admin has made about scripted content in files, so I don't hold a lot of hope.
