Arrangement of Expiration dates.

Copper Contributor

I need to arrange Expiration dates beginning from 01/01/2019 to 12/31/2019 in a spreadsheet.

Please provide me the solution or formula.

Thanks.

Without knowing any more than you have provided, all we can do is give you a general answer: IF your dates are in fact Excel dates (i.e., with an underlying serial number, and formatted as dates) then you can use DATA....SORT to sort the array. This will work with a table of data where there's other information about products or whatever to which those expiration dates apply. But IF those dates are text masquerading as date fields, then the sort will not be in actual date order.

So use Data....Sort and see if it works. If it doesn't come back and let us know.

In general, if you're going to ask a question like this it's a lot more helpful to you as well as to those of us that might be able to offer help if you upload a sample (devoid of private or proprietary info) of your actual spreadsheet.

Highlight the table and use the sort function. You can find it on the data tab.
