This is my first post as I often look for existing solution/discussion to solve my issue but this time...
I'm using the "Group" feature from Excel (Data>Outline>Group).
I just want to increase the readability of my document and apply alternate row color depending on the group the row belongs to (and moreover a group with highest outline level take priority to apply its cell formatting).
Here is a small (manual) illustration of what I expect:
I do not want to spend time to manage formula inside a conditional formatting as I want this feature to be easily deployed (if it does not, then I will abort that feature from my mind).
The same goes for any VBA code.
Just tell me if there is any easy way (otherwise this could be a nice-to-have feature on next Excel upgrade?),
