I updated an older version of Microsoft Excel to a new version 16.55. When I open an older version and try to save it, or do save it, I no longer have the ability to add new comments. What do I do?

@Carmen69 Right-click on a cell. Do you see this?
Perhaps I remember incorrectly, but what used to be called Comments are now Notes.

Thanks for the response. However, my pull down on the new version 16.55 for Home & Student only shows "New Comment". No "New Note" shows up in the pull down. I have checked for updates but there are none. Confusion still reins!
