Activating filter doesn't go to first row

I have a end-user that has a strange issue when she activates a filter in an Excel document.

Usually when doing this, the sheet goes to the top row, but this doesn't happen anymore.
It just stays on the current view of the sheet.

I've noticed the same, if I'm down toward the bottom of a table.

You don't say, though, whether the filter, per se, is working as it should; is it? If so, what's the problem? Just scroll up. Command/Ctrol plus up-arrow.

Well the filter works like it should.

The issue happens with all Excel files. As a test I created a new document with two columns that are longer than the height of her screen.
Let's say that the currect view starts from row 200 - to 260. When activating the filter it will just keep that view and thus won't scroll automatically to row 1  where the filter is put on.

It's not a big issue of course, but still I do find it strange.
