Maybe this information/links will help you in your projects.

Restrict access to workbooks with Information Rights Management in Excel

Information Rights Management (IRM) helps you prevent sensitive information from being printed, forwarded, or copied by unauthorized people. The permissions are stored in the workbook where they are authenticated by an IRM server.

Allow someone else to manage your mail and calendar

Similar to having an assistant that helps you manage your incoming paper mail, another person, known as a delegate, can receive and respond to email messages and meeting requests and responses on your behalf. You can also grant the delegate additional permissions to read, create, or change items in your Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox.

Hope I could help you with these information / links.
