How to use data types

  1. Open a blank Excel workbook.
  2. Type “Earth” into A1.
  3. To convert the text into a data type, select A1, and then select Data > expand the Data Types gallery > select Space .
  4. See available data you can work with by selecting the icon next to Earth to view the card.
  5. Insert data into the sheet by hovering over a field in the card and select the Insert Data button that appears. Otherwise, select the cell containing Earth and click the Insert Data button on the top right corner of the cell.

Will this eventually roll out to other SKU's (Pro Plus, E3, E5 etc.) or is this only for Family and Personal

Cheers Sam

Hi @ecaldesi ,

Is there any opportunity to get all outputs regarding any data type (in our case "Earth") at one click (Insert Data)?

Thanks in advance.

@Sameer_Bhide these data types are currently available for consumer and edu subscription only, but we are working on broader availability.

there are several shares I cannot implement

SPIBDA (ISIN DK0061294048) - Sparinvest Bæredygtige Aktier KL A

Hey I got an idea for a datatype!  How about one for video game titles?  This is one example of what I track on my personal list currently in Sticky Notes:

  • Outer Wilds ($15/17/25)(8GB) - rated overwhelmingly positive, wish listed, its been described as art...seriously thinking about getting this one when on sale!  Tags:  Exploration, Space, Adventure, Mystery, Puzzle

The Steam database can probably be leveraged for this:
