Which one takes precedence? Group policy or Edge flags?

MVP

When a flag and a policy configure the same behavior in Edge browser, which one takes precedence and which one is ignored?

asking this question because apparently blocking Edge://flags isn't recommended

@HotCakeX Hi!  Thanks for the question!  We've just discussed with the team and there is no definite answer because it can vary depending on the Channel and state of the new feature that has a flag.

Specifically for MS Edge Stable or Beta Channel, which most Enterprise customers would be using, policy should almost always take precedence over a flag.  If you or anyone has noticed different behavior please let us know so we can investigate.

@Kelly_Y

Hi and thanks for the reply,

yes I'd also expect for policy to normally take precedence, but sure if I find any conflicts will report as feedback :)
