We are testing Microsoft Edge version 77.0.235.27 Beta and have Internet Explorer uninstall on a Windows 10 Enterprise N workstation version 1902 and 1809. When we go to open an internal sites such as SharePoint 2013 site collection, we get the message, To open this page in Internet Explorer mode, reinstall Microsoft Edge with administrator privileges. The moment we reinstall Internet Explorer, the message goes away. Is there a fix for this or one on the way. We are also using Group Policy to enable IE mode to the workstations. So i am confused as to why IE still needs to be installed.

@mindst , Thank you for the reply. We were under the impression the new Edge Chromium with IE mode didn't require IE to still be installed on the computer.
