Some websites don't have Added Security banner when I enable the Enhanced Security Mode option. I want to know more about how the Enhanced Security Mode add the banner and how to manually set it.

In Microsoft Edge Stable Version 104.0.1293.47 there are some improvements included.  Here is a link to the release notes with more details:

@Kelly_Y Thanks for the doc.

 

In the doc, "After a user turns on enhanced security mode, they'll see a banner with the words "Added security" in their URL navigation bar when Microsoft Edge is applying enhanced security mode for a particular site." Now the problem is I see some websites don't have that banner even when I enable the enhanced security mode, which seems causes some unexpected behavior.

 

Is there a way to know the conditions of adding the banner? Is there a way to set it manually?

@AlexChong Hi! Enhanced security mode can be set to "Basic", "Balanced", or "Strict" which can have an effect on the sites.
