Microsoft Edge newest version 92, issues with select boxes datalists

When we try using a page with a <select> and a datalist and search in the list, the edge browser randomly breaks and causes the entire page to reopen.

The error is Microsoft Edge Closed unexpectedly.

This worked in the prior versions of Edge (prior to V91) and there seems to have been a patch about the # of records shown in the datalist that may have contributed to this which was on previous forum.

That seems to be fixed and now this other issue has taken its place.  It's also not consistent, seems to happen sometimes.

@leonhering25 @Dennis1993 There is a separate thread about datalist issues.  Another issue has been identified and the fix is currently being worked on by the team.  (Here is a link to a description of the crash: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/latest-release-of-edge-crashes/m-p/2748877/highli...)

This might be what you are experiencing.  We can let you know once the new fix has been released.  Thanks!

Hi Everyone!  To follow up in this thread as well, the new fix is included in current Canary builds and should be included in the Beta V94 release from today (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-relnote-beta-channel#version-94099223-sep...).  

We expect Stable V94 to be release next week (Microsoft Edge release schedule | Microsoft Docs) and should include the fix.

Now I checked I have 93.0.961.52.
Still can't download 94.... in stable.

@A1-A1 Yes, v94 will be released to Stable later this week.  If you want to test, the fix should be included in the Beta channel now.  Thanks!
