Managed Microsoft Edge only for signed in work profiles

Hi,

One of our client would like to switch to Microsoft Edge from Chrome as their primary browser, many of their employees use BYOD (personal devices) to access business apps on the web. As such, they're planning on asking the employees to:

1. Create new edge profile
2. Sign in to it with their Work M365 account

Is there a way to just manage that one profile which they're signing into their browser with?

You can configure Edge to use a specific domain name, then you would limit it for work use but that settings can only set on laptops that are in a azure tenant and are managed via intune, and requires Windows 10 Pro as a minimum.
That is sometimes in conflict with BYOD (where the ownership of the device is of the end user).
