How you deal with default PDF app change after Edge upgrade?

We are preparing to push new Edge Chromium globally before Legacy Edge goes out of support on March. In our testing we have noticed that when new Edge is installed and you try to open PDF document, Windows 10 shows a dialog asking if you want Edge to stay default PDF app or if you want to switch it. For various reasons we use a third party PDF application, which is set as default before that upgrade. So i wonder what is the best way to avoid switching default PDF app after the upgrade or best way to switch it after the upgrade to the previous app.

Thanks. That's interesting. But unfortunately i know that some users prefer to use Edge to view PDFs. So we won't be able to apply this policy globally.
