Group Policy: Browser sign-in settings not working?

I've enabled the Browser sign in settings policy for Edge Dev. I've confirmed through Edge://policy that it is enabled on client machines.

I can still sign in to the browser with this policy enabled. However, it appears if I close the browser and reopen it, the account is signed out.

I updated to the latest Dev build (77.0.218.4 ) and the gpo seems to be working now. There is no option to sign in.
