GPO for "Allow extensions from other store"

Brass Contributor

You can manually enable the option to get extensions from other stores.

Is this feature configurable via a GPO?
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/DeployEdge/microsoft-edge-policies
I've looked through the list and tried to find information via a web search but didn't find anything about this particular option.

Thanks, Michael

We have hosted this documentation here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-manage-extensions-webstore check it out and let us know your feedback.
The scope of this work item changed and at the moment, we are only supporting the ability to "not allow" extensions from Chrome Web Store. Find more details here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-manage-extensions-policies#block-extensio...

More than a year later and still no solution. Come on Microsoft, how difficult can it be to create a GPO / Intune Settings Catalog setting for this? It's just toggling a switch that already exists in Edge between enable and disable.

@PeteMitchell Please see if the ControlDefaultStateOfAllowExtensionFromOtherStoresSettingEnabled

policy can help in your scenario.  Documentation can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-policies#controldefaultstateofallowextens....  Thanks!
