Edge update(s) not available in WSUS?

Copper Contributor

This is the second time we noticed that the Stable Release Notes mention a new release that is not yet available in the Microsoft Update catalog (and thus WSUS?).

Is this because of the "progressive rollout" that is mentioned on the Release Notes page? Or is there another reason for this? The previous version (.47) showed up a day later as well.

Looks like the updates are available now, two days later.

Does anybody know if that’s normal? Or why there is this delay?

@marceldk Hello!  Microsoft Edge Stable Channel updates do utilize Progressive Rollouts.

More information can be found here: Progressive rollouts for Microsoft Edge Stable channel updates | Microsoft Docs Thanks!

@Kelly_Y hi, sorry for the late reply but according to the information you linked to this does not apply to WSUS deployments?

Enterprises that manage distribution through WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) or Configuration Manager are not registered for auto-updates. Administrators manage and apply the updates that will be available from the start. Progressive Rollout does not affect this process.
