Edge - IE Compatibility Mode - BST Global

Copper Contributor

Good Afternoon!

We are experiencing an issue within Microsoft Edge - Internet Explorer Compatibility Mode with our IE application BST Global v8 (https://bstglobal.com/)

Whenever we put in a time and our metric are invalid in the application, we receive an error prompt.

In Internet Explorer, this prompt appears on top of the application and refuses further input until we select "Close" on the prompt.

In Edge, the window appears behind Edge entirely. We must first change focus to another window and then back to Edge for it to show on top of the BST web application.

During this time, Input is not allowed while the prompt is active/inactive and leads to users believing that Edge is frozen.

Users are on these builds when the error occurs:

Windows 10 Build: 18363.778

Microsoft Edge Build: 81.0.416.53

Is there any way you can help us with this issue or perhaps provide insight as to why this occurs?

Disregard, the fix has been reported in the dev channel for Edge on Build 82.0.466.0
