Configure the Enterprise Mode Site List

Copper Contributor

Hello

I am reviewing the latest group policies (as of 07/19/2019) for Microsoft Edge Chromium, and I do not see the setting "Configure the Enterprise Mode Site List"  that is available in Edge Classic.

Maybe I am missing something, but not sure how we point Edge C to our Enterprise Mode Sitelist without it.

Thanks!

@Joe_D150 The admx file (which is available here: https://aka.ms/edgeenterprise ) contains a policy "Configure Internet Explorer integration" which you will want to enable and choose "IE mode from the drop down in the Group Policy Editor.  For configuring the site list, there is an Internet Explorer policy (Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer -> "Use the Enterprise Mode IE website list") which is where you provide the pointer to your site list.

Additionally, IE mode isn't supported in the Canary channel. Please use the dev channel if you are interested in trying IE mode.

Thanks!

Thanks Steve!

It's also now possible to create a specific list for new edge browser :

Configure the Enterprise Mode Site List (Microsoft Edge Dev Channel, version 78 or later)
This policy lets you create a separate Enterprise Mode Site list. Enabling this policy overrides the settings in the "Use the Enterprise Mode IE website list" policy, provided that "Configure Internet Explorer integration" is enabled. Disabling or not configuring this policy doesn't affect the default behavior of the "Configure Internet Explorer integration" policy.
