In March, Microsoft announced RemoteFX and how it enables a rich desktop experience for endpoint devices ranging from traditional PCs to the most lightweight of thin client devices. And in July, we provided testing guidance for RemoteFX using the Service Pack 1 (SP1) Beta – thank you for all your feedback on the Beta.

Earlier this week, we announced the broad availability of the Release Candidate (RC) for SP1 . We invite our customers to try out the near final bits of RemoteFX by using this RC build, which includes bug fixes and feedback from the Beta, as well as reliability and performance improvements.

We have also worked very closely with our ecosystem partners to bring RemoteFX-ready solutions to the marketplace by the time SP1 is broadly available. You will hear more details in the coming weeks.

We are refreshing the documentation listed below with the RC release. We appreciate your interest in RemoteFX and invite you to download and evaluate the RC. Please post your queries on http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en/winserverTS/threads or send an email to remotefx@microsoft.com .
